NL West Best Bet
PICK: Dodgers to win the division (-165)
WHY: This really feels like a coronation out west more than anything, especially after the San Diego Padres lost Fernando Tatis Jr. for up to three months.
The Dodgers are not just the best team on paper in the NL West, they’re the best team on paper in baseball. Their embarrassment of riches somehow grew with the acquisition of reigning World Series MVP and 2020 NL MVP Freddie Freeman to already add to a loaded lineup.
Couple an offense of Freeman, Mookie Betts, Will Smith, and a potential bounce-back campaign from Cody Bellinger with a pitching staff of Walker Beuhler, Julio Urias, and potentially Trevor Bauer and Los Angeles is going to fly.
