San Francisco 49er’s defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw repeatedly yelled at a reporter, Grant Cohn, on his Youtube channel Tuesday night following a verbal altercation at Tuesday’s OTA work in San Francisco.

Reports say that Kinlaw went up to Cohn in practice, cursed at him, and then knocked the hat off of his head.

When Kinlaw eventually called in and began cursing out at the SI reporter, Cohn had begun breaking down the altercation on his Youtube channel.

“Stop playing with me. I don’t f—ing play like that. You don’t fucking know me,”  he said. “I’m not the one. My whole family knows what you look like.” said Kinlaw in a roughly six-minute verbal spew of swear words and name-calling.”

Cohn said afterward that Kinlaw’s warning came off as a threat.

Reports have said that Kinlaw was upset with how Cohn had been reporting about him, and his teammates over the last few weeks.

Kinlaw was a 2020 first-round pick of the 49ers out of South Carolina and has registered just a sack and a half in 18 games played over his first two seasons.

The 49ers have not commented on the situation at this time.
