Yesterday, F1 announced that it will be adding Las Vegas to the race calendar in 2023. It will be the first F1 race held on a Saturday in almost 40 years and will be the third race held in the United States alongside Austin and Miami, which will hold its first race in May.

It was announced yesterday that the race would be a 3.8-mile track that would include a straight stretch that runs right down the infamous Las Vegas trip, right past all of the casinos. Experts expect that top speeds could reach over 210mph on that stretch, which could make viewing from hotel balconies especially popular.

With F1 also partnering with Live Nation Entertainment as well as local Vegas casinos like MGM Resorts, Wynn Las Vegas, and Founding Partners Caesars Entertainment, the event figures to be as glitzy and star-studded as you would expect from an international event in Sin City.
