  • Bullpen ERAs: SEA 3.93; CHW 3.38
  • The Pick: Avoid
  • Why: I just don’t have a good feel for this game, and, often, when you have a good feel for a game, it’s best to just avoid putting your money on it. Robbie Ray is certainly the better starter here, but he is also prone to giving up home runs, and this White Sox lineup is one that could certainly put up a few. I think the White Sox are the better team, but the Mariners have the better starter. However, the Mariners’ bats have also been a little slow to get going, with just a .183 average, which is 29th in all of baseball. If you have the ability to place a F5 (first five) bet on the Mariners, you can do that and bank on Ray being better than Keuchel at the start of the game.
