- Pace of Play: A&M 205th, WSU 230th
The Pick:
- So despite both teams having stellar defenses, the metrics seem to like the over, which is not uncommon for neutral site tournament games between teams that don’t know each other. Each of Washington State’s last two games has gone over 132 total points and two of Texas A&M’s three NIT wins have gone over that total. Wake Forest shot just 34% from the field, which helped that game go under; however, Texas A&M has been on a roll and scored 67 points winning ten of their last eleven and scoring at least 67 points in all but one of those games, the loss to Tennessee in the SEC finals.
